Gerry Rafferty Dies At Age 631970s Singer-songwriter Gerry Rafferty, known for his hit songs Stuck in the Middle with You, Get It Right Next Time and Baker Street, has died at age 63.

According to his family he died today in England, with his daughter Martha at his side, reports The Guardian. After years of battling alcoholism, in November, Rafferty was admitted to Royal Bournemouth Hospital in Dorset, England, with kidney failure.

Rafferty was born in Glasgow and, prior to his successful solo career, co-founded the soft-rock group Stealer’s Wheel.
