The 70s called, and wanted its look back. The former Municipal Pool in Cheyenne has undergone renovations and is now The Cheyenne Aquatic Center at 931 Martin Esquibel Drive. The vast majority of work is over, and as of 11:30 Friday, May 1, 2015, the grand opening is on.

The locker rooms haven’t seen any improvements since 1976. That is now done. Many changes are evident in several areas of the Center. The city of Cheyenne has added new pool, lap lanes, two water-slides, a lazy river, zero-entry, lockers, showers, toilets, tile, lights, glass, paint and is much brighter and more accessible to those with disabilities. The changes are also evident with the new family friendly locker rooms, entrance and employee offices.

Aquatic center admission ranges from $1.25 for children to $4.50 for adults.
