See: Top Track & Field Competitors In Hershey Track & Field Meet

The local Hershey Track and Field meet on Tuesday, May 27th will feature great competition and opportunities to qualify for the state meet. The meet begins PROMPTLY at 5:30, at Harry Geldien Stadium.

Admission to the Hershey Track and Field Meet is free.  Girls and boys aged 9-14 years as of December 31, 2014 are eligible to compete.  Check-in and registration time is between 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. on the day of the meet.

Age group events include the 50 meter dash (9-10 years division only), 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash (9-10 & 11-12 years only), 4 X 100 meter relay, 800 meter run (11-12 & 13-14 years only), 1600 meter run (13-14 years division only), standing long jump and softball throw.  The top two finishers in each event qualify to compete at the State Hershey Meet to be held in Rock Springs on Saturday, June 21, 2014.  Qualifiers from the State Meet are eligible for selection to represent the region to travel to Hershey, Pennsylvania on Saturday August 2, 2014 for the National Meet, expenses paid.  For more information, call 235-8383.
