It’s been said; “If you love your freedom, thank a vet.” To more fully appreciate what they’ve done for us, visit an authentic display of how some of our military men and women lived while fighting for us in World War 2.

16 million Americans served during World War II, 35,000 of those were from Wyoming.

The 6th Division, 20th Regiment, Company A, a group of veterans, volunteers and local historians, is putting on their annual living history display and is bringing history to life at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center, 2360 East Pershing in Cheyenne. The exhibit is an excellent opportunity to see and hear about the military equipment and weapons used during the war that went from 1939 – 1945.

An estimated 350 students are expected to tour the display and you can visit too. The event is also open to the public and is free for all who attend.
The annual ‘WWII Living History Display’ display is on from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 19 through the 21st.

We thank those who served and these fine men and women who keep the history of our hard-won freedom alive.
