The Rolling Stones' 2015 Zip Code Tour is on its way to a stadium near you, and the band is offering a glimpse of what fans can expect this time around with a brief video retrospective of the opening show in San Diego from this past weekend.

It's always hard to beat the weather along the coast in Southern California, but that's particularly true this time of year — something quickly noted by Stones singer Mick Jagger, who opens the video by sharing his enthusiasm for hitting the road during the warmer months. "I think outdoors is always really great in the summer, you know?" says Jagger. Keith Richards then chimes in with a few quick words about the "fresh air" feeling of playing outdoor venues in the summer and adding, "You wanna play the heartland in the open air, and see everybody."

The Zip Code Tour, which will adhere to Stones tradition by including some special guests, was prefaced by a "secret" show in Los Angeles during which the band ran through its 1971 Sticky Fingers LP. That classic album will return to stores in remastered and expanded form, part of a reissue whose super deluxe edition includes the first official release of their widely traded 1971 Leeds bootleg.

The next new music out of the Stones camp looks likely to be a solo effort by Richards, but Jagger holds out hope that the band will eventually make its way back into the studio. "I’d love to record a Stones album," he recently said. "If that doesn’t happen, then yes [to a solo record]. That’s a truthful answer. I’ve got songs that would be great for the Stones, and I’ve got songs that wouldn’t be perfect for the Stones."
