You might not know this, but I love random trivia facts.  I refer to them as useless trivia because they rarely if ever come up in the flow of conversation. Regardless, I still drop these nuggets of knowledge when I need a subject change or simply want to start up a conversation.

The coolest thing is each of these trivia facts are TRUE and I share them on the air on My Country 95.5 each weekday morning at around 7:45 am.

Check out today's 5 random facts.

1 - There are no laws preventing the NBA, NFL, MLB or any other sports league from rigging their games.

2 - The most watched episode of a TV series this decade is . . . the series premiere of "Undercover Boss" in 2010 with 38.7 million viewers.  It came on right after Super Bowl 44.  And obviously the Super Bowl itself gets more viewers, but it's not part of a TV series.

3 - The name of the messaging app Slack is actually an acronym.  It stands for Searchable Log of All Communication and Knowledge.

4 - The mortar used in the Great Wall of China included sticky rice and that's one of the reasons it's held together so well.

5 - Napkins were invented by Leonardo da Vinci in 1491.
