For the last 17 years, The Science Zone has provided the community of Casper and other outlying areas the opportunity to explore the sciences. As patrons explore the facility and programs, their own curiosities propel them through our exhibits and displays. Our after school, summer school, special events, television segments, and outreach programs have created an awareness of our organization across the state, bringing people to Casper specifically for our museum. We are proud to be an essential part of our community and are excited to continue providing opportunities for children to learn and grow.

The Eggstravaganza is The Science Zone’s primary fundraiser. Funds procured from this event support our mission throughout the year. The Science Zone strives to be the premier science center in central Wyoming by offering quality programming, educators, and exhibits. The Zone provides high-interest, hands-on learning experiences for all ages, thereby making involvement in S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) an integral part of their patrons’ lives.

The monies raised from this event will fund their programs, outreach activities, animal care, scholarships, and will enable the Zone to serve more deserving youth of our region in a unique and exciting way. In 2014 they saw roughly 27,000 visitors and are hoping to reach over 30,000 in 2015. The Science Zone understands that education is of the utmost importance to our community. We are asking for your support and participation at this year’s event to help us continue providing high quality learning experiences to Wyoming’s future scientists and community leaders. Remember, they can’t do it without you!
