Police Surround Casper Wells Fargo Branch [PHOTOS]

Update 12:30 p.m. – Casper Police responded to a hold-up alarm at the downtown Wells Fargo Bank drive-through shortly after 11:00 a.m. Friday. Officer Lyle Berg says police were called after the alarm was tripped, but it appears bank employees did not follow the established protocol for such a situtation. Although no robbery occurred, without proper confirmation by bank workers, five officers secured the perimeter of the bank. The bank was cleared by noon. Police continue their investigation.

A large number of Casper Police officers and members of other law enforcement agencies responded to the area of the Wells Fargo Bank branch on 1st Street in Casper Friday morning, shortly after 11:00 a.m.
