At pizza places, you have the option to grab some additional flavor packs like red pepper flakes and garlic seasoning. I thought I could use these to flavor noodles to make a 'Pizza Pasta' of sorts. Let's give it a shot!

I used spaghetti noodles because I already had some available, but you can use any type of pasta. Here's what I did.

  • Make your pasta according to direction
  • Drain, but don't rinse. Rinsing washes away the starch needed to make sauce stick to the noodles
  • Put it back in the pot, off of heat, and add an egg, a splash of milk, about a tablespoon of butter and the seasoning packs
  • Mix
  • Serve
  • This, by the way, is how I make every pasta I make to standard success. Instead of the seasoning packs you can add cheese or anything you need. In today's case, I'll use these free seasoning packs.

The verdict: Meh, it could be better

It wasn't bad, but I think I needed to add something else. Not sure what but maybe some mozzarella or make it super pizza-y.

If you have any tips on what I could have done differently, let me know!
