Though it seems that Peter Jackson doesn't appear in 'The World's End' as he did in 'Hot Fuzz' -- he must have been a little too busy with those 'Hobbit' movies -- he's still friendly with director Edgar Wright, and stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (they did all work on 'Tintin' together). For the release of 'The World's End' Jackson has sat down with the three to have a chat about the movie.

On top of this lovely interview the movie has also released three clips from the movie (and thanks to Collider for finding them). As the film is opening this week in the U.K., and will have a presence at Comic-Con, hopefully excitement for the movie will last until the film hits theaters stateside on August 23.

Here's the film's synopsis:

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again.  They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End.  As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s.  Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

And here are those clips:
