Gas prices are up 31% from their low in January. Prices may seem low because they’re about a dollar a gallon cheaper than a year ago, but prices are going back up because oil is going up and we’re coming into the summer driving season.

$2.68 is the nationwide average according to AAA. In Casper, $2.28 at Sam’s Club 4600 E 2nd St near Wyoming Blvd SE and the most expensive is $2.41 at Conoco at 5076 W Yellowstone Hwy & N 4th Ave. according to GasBuddy.com.

Cheyenne’s cheapest gas is $2.37 cash at the Safeway at 700 S Greeley Hwy & W Allison Rd.. The most expensive is at Little America at 2800 W Lincolnway & I-25 I-80 for $2.65, it's the Dom Perignon of petrol.
