The late Patrick Swayze’s Johnny Castle character from ‘Dirty Dancing’ has been immortalized in wax by Madame Tussauds Hollywood.

Swayze’s widow, Lisa Niemi, who was on hand for the unveiling, posed with the statue, recreating a scene in which Johnny taught Jennifer Grey’s Baby character the importance of balance in dance.

Overall, Niemi was impressed with Swayze’s wax likeness.

“He had this kind of mischievous, but confident look … and things like his core (were) very, very strong and they worked on his arms more, so it’s very detailed,” she said. “There’s a lot of work that goes into this.”

Niemi, who had been married to Swayze for 34 years when he died of pancreatic cancer in 2009, said the unveiling was ‘bittersweet.  Watch a video of the event below.
