Pathfinder reservoir located about 45 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming holds over one million acre feet of water when completely full. As of this past weekend, Pathfinder is at 100% capacity and is spilling over it's dam.

The inflow at the reservoir as of today is 7814 CFS and the outflow is 4591 CFS and is creating a pretty spectacular spill-over at the Pathfinder Dam. This is only the fourth time in 30 years that the water levels have been high enough for a spill-over. The last time it happened was in 2011.

There are a couple of areas to park and see the action up by the dam and for a different perspective, drive to the east and at the bottom of the hill cross the bridge and look back to the dam. From any perspective it is a spectacular sight.

Check out some of the action here.
