On the one hand, it's a good thing people are putting more effort into cleaning themselves after they do their dirty business.

On the other hand, if we're all constantly cleaning our groins with baby wipes, it could bring down the sewer system.

There's a report about it out of Washington D.C., but we're wondering if it applies to other cities too.  In the last few years, D.C. has seen a massive 35% jump in clogged pipes . . . and it's all because of moist butt wipes.

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission has had to spend more than $1 million to upgrade their sewers just to try to keep up.  They added industrial-strength grinders to shred the wipes to try to keep them moving through the pipes.

They've also spent more than 500 man hours in the past year removing logjams in the pipes caused by wipes.

Meanwhile, nationwide, moistened wipes for adults are doing almost a billion dollars a year in sales already . . . and their sales are projected to keep going up 6% every year.
