NEW TWINKIES TO HAVE LONGER SHELF LIFE

The sponge cakes with a cream filling make their return next week will be different from the previous version in as much as their shelf life will be three weeks longer, from 26 to 45 days. That decision was made before the company went bankrupt.

A number of stores will get theirs Twinkies frozen from the manufacturers so the cakes last even longer.
