In the history of rock and roll, supergroups have not fared well. Bands like Cream, Blind Faith and others burned bright but burned out. Now another new Supergroup has formed and thinks they can succeed where others have failed. The band is called The Rides. Members are Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Barry Goldberg. They've recorded their first CD and have scheduled to tour behind it as well. "CSN icon Stills says the supergroup’s work is “in the spirit of that simple, raw authentic 40s and 50s blues music the three of us love.” http://www.classicrockmagazine.com/music_and_videos/the-rides-search-and-destroy/

I look forward to another supergroup burning brightly. Or burning out.
