New Boeing 787 Dreamliner Testing In Casper Skies Today
Cool opportunity to see one of Boeing’s newest planes today as the 787 Dreamliner flies into the Casper/Natrona County International Airport for some testing. There’s only 6 of them in existence right now. Here’s the scoop:
According to the NCIA, the aircraft is scheduled to be here today at noon. They’re unsure at this point whether the aircraft will be performing touch & go’s, full stop landings, low approaches, or exactly how long the aircraft will be here – and times might be subject to change. We do know that yesterday, it passed through Cheyenne to test out landing capabilities at a high-altitude airport with strong winds – and made 9 touch & go landings, and a full stop for fuel.
