The Natrona County Sheriff's Office is investigating a road rage incident earlier this week, according to a news release from Sgt. Aaron Shatto.

Between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday, a semi-tractor and trailer was traveling northbound on Interstate 25 near the Bryan Stock Trail/Beverly Street exit.

The semi-tractor driver saw a two-tone royal blue mid-1990s GMC or Chevy extended cab pickup traveling beside him. The pickup also had tinted windows and a lift kit.

The driver of the pickup pulled ahead of the semi-tractor driver, cut him off and immediately slowed.

The semi-tractor driver was able to change lanes and pass the pickup. He then heard "two pops," looked in his mirror and saw the pickup driver's hand outside the driver's side window.

The semi-tractor driver later stopped and found he had two bullet holes through one of his tires.

The Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify the driver of the pickkup.

However, the office also asks members of the public who believe they may have identified the suspect to not approach the suspect because he or she may be armed.

If you have information about this case, contact the Natrona County Sheriff's Office at (307) 235-9282.
