In what has been a frustrating year for the Natrona County Boys Basketball team, the Regional Tournament being held in Green River Wyoming proved to be a re-run of how the Mustang's season has gone. Losing close games after giving an incredible effort. Never looking at the score board only looking at the back board. After losing the Peach Basket Classic to cross town rival Kelly Walsh the Mustangs were going into the Regional tournament with little or no confidence. And Thursday's game against the Rock Springs Tigers, a team that was ranked only one place in front of the Mustangs in 4A West, proved to be a tougher challenge than the young,  tournament inexperienced Mustangs team could over come. The Mustangs took the Tigers to overtime losing 52-48 and finishing up the season 8-15 and 4-6 in the Conference.
