In 2007 former President George W. Bush signed a law to switch the Country to more energy efficient lighting meaning the popular 60 and 40 watt incandescent bulbs will be phased out this year. The 100 and 75 watt bulbs were phased out over the past couple of years.Sixty percent of Americans are unaware that the 60's and 40's cannot be produced or imported into the Country. Despite not being up to date on the lower watt bulbs, many of those in the survey were aware of the overall switch to lighting that's more efficient and cheaper although the bulbs costs more than the traditional bulbs.

Many Americans plan to buy all the 60-40 bulbs they can before it's lights out!
