Two hunters who went after rabbits south of Wamsutter on Sunday and were later reported missing were found late Tuesday, according to the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

"Searchers found both Allen Hendrickson and Sean Jereb about 30 minutes ago at a location southwest of Wamsutter," the Sheriff's Office wrote about 10:30 p.m.

"The pair took shelter in an oilfield structure and are alive. More details will be made available tomorrow," according to the Facebook post.

Hendrickson, 28, and Sean T. Jereb, 27, are from Rock Springs.

They were last known to have been heading toward an area south of Wamsutter just before the severe winter storm hit southern and central Wyoming.

They were driving a gray, 2007 Ford Focus.

The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office lead the search for the men with ground and air resources.
