Mild Temperatures, a Few Showers/Thunderstorms to Round out September

There is still enough of atmospheric moisture around for a few light showers and a couple of weak thunderstorms to form around the state today through Sunday.  Most of them will be over the higher terrain.  Significant precipitation, however, is not expected.

Under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies, temperatures will have a chance to warm up nicely over the next several days.  Today through Sunday expect daytime highs in the upper 60s and 70s with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s.
