Beginning on Tuesday, April 21, the parks department will be taking down the Mike Sedar Park playground in preparation for pool construction. The playground will be returned to the park once pool construction is complete.

“The new Mike Sedar Pool will be larger than the old pool, so the playground needs to be moved prior to construction,” stated Parks Superintendent Dan Coryell. “The playground will be returned when the pool is complete and we are hoping to place it closer to the parking lot and other park amenities” continued Coryell.

During the closure, residents can venture to the two closest parks with play structures- Garden Creek Park and Adams Park. Both parks are located on Coffman Street.
