Man Of 1,000 Voices Remembered [VIDEO]

26 years ago today 1,000 voices (over 400 characters by his count) were silenced with the loss of the great MEL BLANC  (1908 - 1989)

He gave voice to so many of the cartoon characters we love: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety and Sylvester, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn . . . and Barney Rubble on "The Flintstones" to name a few.

Mel is gone, along with our childhood, but his work and our memories live on.
