Book a flight to where you don't want to go and save money, while you can.

22-year-old Aktarer Zaman of New York launched Skiplagged.com about a year ago. It uses a clever loophole to help people find cheap flights. Here's how it works.  A lot of the time, flights to smaller cities are cheaper than flights to major cities . . . but those flights to smaller cities almost ALWAYS make connections in larger cities.

As an example, if you were flying from Los Angeles to Bangor, Maine, you'd probably have a connection in Boston.

So if you wanted to go to Boston, what if you booked the cheaper flight to Bangor, but didn't take the connection and stayed put?  That's the principle behind the site:  It helps you find the cheapest flight to a major city by finding a connection you WON'T take.

You can't check any bags and the airlines don't like it, but technically it IS legal.  Only there's a problem . . . Zaman's trick was TOO good.

CNN Money says United Airlines and Orbitz.com just filed a LAWSUIT for $75,000 in lost revenue, claiming the website is, quote, "unfair competition" and promotes, quote, "strictly prohibited" travel.

Aktarer says he hasn't made any money from the site and he's just doing it for a hobby . . . so far he's crowdfunded $48,000 for his legal fight. Will you contribute or use the site?
