Los Angelino Max Zahir had a homeless veteran come up to him at a gas station and say he hadn't eaten all day.  So Max took him through the drive-thru at a fast food place, and bought him dinner.

And in the video he posted on YouTube, he tells the guy that if he meets him at the same gas station, he'll do it EVERY DAY.  Which makes the guy break down in tears . . . he says no one's been so nice to him in a long time.

"Inside Edition" says Max is also setting him up with a job at his restaurant, and he just started a Go Fund Me page to raise money for homeless veterans. Note at the end of the video our vet says "There's a lot of us out here." I don't see them, but I'll start looking. Max was right, they deserve so much better.

For those about to help, we salute you. Now dry your eyes... and DO SOMETHING! So will I.
