Legendary Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd have succumbed to the lure of reality television -- sort of. The group that gave the world such all-time rock anthems as 'Free Bird,' 'Gimme Three Steps' and 'Sweet Home Alabama' have recorded a new theme song for the hit reality show 'Pawn Stars.'

The new track is titled 'Winning Isn't Everything,' and if that seems like an unusual sentiment for a reality competition, luckily, the lyrics clarify, "Winning isn't everything / It's the only thing." A 30-second edited version will kick off each episode of the show when it launches its new season on History on May 30 at 9:00PM. You can check out the track exclusively at Entertainment Weekly's website. 'Pawn Stars' is moving to Thursdays for the new season.

Skynyrd will also be on hand this Friday (April 26) at the Pawn Stars’ Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas for the 'Party Like the Pawn Stars' event, which History is staging to kick off the show's upcoming season. The band will perform the new song, as well as more than an hour of their classic hits, at the free concert. History is also giving away tickets via local classic rock station KKLZ.

'Winning Isn't Everything' will be available for purchase at iTunes beginning April 30.
