Singer Pat Benatar and her husband Neil “Spyder” Giraldo are selling their Maui, Hawaii home for $3.6 Million. The couple bought the property for $550,000 in 2000, and built their 3 Bed, 3½ Bath, 3295 SqFt, 1.1 Acre plantation-style house.

“The main house has two bedrooms, and a recording studio over the garage doubles as a guest bedroom.” According to Maui Now. In 2005 they paid $400,000 for the vacant parcel next door, which they use to host barbecues, play bocce and hit golf balls.

The couple lived there with their two daughters for about five years, until 2009. Mr. Giraldo said their hectic touring schedule caused them to relocate to California. “Living on an island made it difficult,” he said. At first they frequently returned to Hāna, but they’re now spending much of their time in New York City, which makes Hawai‘i trips harder. Once the house is sold, he said, “we’ll probably get a brownstone or something in New York.”
