Five-time Grammy winner and founder of Bela Fleck and the Fleckstones, Victor Wooten, will be performing in Casper April 10th.  Performing along with Wooten is Steve Bailey, director of the Berkley School of Music’s Bass Department.  Bailey has played bass with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson and jazz legend Dizzy Gillespie.  The performance will take place at Natrona County High School in the John F. Welsh Auditorium.

Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey will perform with drummer Derrico Watson as Bass Extremes.  NCHS Band Director Shawn Weis organized the event.  Wooten and Bailey plan to work with students before the performance.  Opening up the performance will be Natrona Blues Band, a student blues/rock band.  The night kicks of at 7:00 pm and tickets cost $10.  Tickets can be purchased at NCHS, Kelly Walsh and Hill Music Company in the Hilltop Shopping Center.  Wooten and Bailey will also be leading a free clinic class at noon on Wednesday the 10th at the NCHS John F. Welsh Auditorium. The class is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend.
