Engineers Elliot Scheiner, Bob Ludwig and Bill Levenson won a Best Surround Sound Grammy for their work on the re-release of Eric Clapton‘s old band Derek & the Dominos’ ‘Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs.’

The defining album celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2011, and the new set included remastered original songs plus a bunch of new ones (like live songs and collaborations with Johnny Cash) to create a full deluxe package that was released last March.
