Former Wyoming basketball star Larry Nance Jr. made NBA headlines last week as he was part of a six-person trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers.

The move for Larry sent him to his home state of Ohio, and an opportunity to play for the team his father played for from 1987 to 1994.

Nance saw the floor for the first time as a Cavalier Sunday with his team visiting the Boston Celtics.

Larry played 21 minutes scoring 5 points and collecting 4 rebounds. He also had 3 assists and 1 team.

Nance Jr. had his first big highlight with this dunk...

Although that was his first official dunk as a member of the Cavaliers, sportswriter Ben Axelrod posted a throwback photo of Larry as a young man with his father, citing this was actually his first dunk in Cleveland.
