The distance from Wyoming to the Pacific Ocean is 1,000 miles. Even though we’re a totally landlocked state, Wyoming actually has 32 named islands within its state lines.

 

And while the distance from Wyoming to Atlantic Ocean is almost 2,500 miles, there is a place where you can technically stand in both at the same time.

Two Ocean Pass  on the Continental Divide in the Teton Wilderness is notable for one stream splitting into two distributaries at Parting of the Waters National Natural Landmark. These two creeks ultimately flow into their respective oceans.
