Back in November, we told you about the upcoming re-issue of Kiss‘s legendary 1976 album ‘Destroyer’ — and now we have the release dates for it too.

The deluxe 25th anniversary edition of the album is set to drop in Europe on Feb. 27 and hit North American shores the following day. The two-disc set will contain remixes of the LP by producer Bob Ezrin as well as outtakes from the recording sessions, and it will also feature the LP’s original cover art — which was, at the time ‘Destroyer’ was released, was deemed “too violent.”

The album was Kiss’s fourth studio record, and their second consecutive disc to reach the Top 20 in the U.S. It later went on to become the band’s first platinum studio record.

Looks like 2012 will be a productive one for Kiss — the guys recently wrapped up recording their new album, ‘Monster,’ which is slated for release sometime this spring.
