A former music teacher, Kathy Kirlin now works as a musician, providing enrichment opportunities for elementary students, using traditional folk songs to reinforce language skills.  Kathy Kirlin will be appearing in the family area at 2013 Beartrap Summer Festival.

Kathy has a masters degree in Music Education, and has extensive experience playing violin in regional orchestras, as well as playing a wide variety of music: old time fiddle, jazz, and rock. She currently plays in an Irish session group that meets on Wednesdays at Metro Coffee.

Bring the kids and the family to join in the sing-along with Kathy in the family area at the Beartrap Summer Festival on Saturday August 3rd.  The sing-along's will be at 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM and also at 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM.  Look for the bright orange shirt!  See you there!
