It's easy to assume Kate Bush doesn't enjoy touring, given that she hasn't hit the road for an extended period since 1979. But later this year, she'll return to the stage for a series of concerts in London.

NME lists a March 28 sale date for tickets for the new shows, which begin Aug. 26 and run through Sept. 19, all at the Hammersmith Apollo. Dubbed 'Before the Dawn,' Bush's new run of shows includes 15 dates in all. She broke the news via her official website, writing a brief note that begun, "I am delighted to announce that we will be performing some live shows this coming August and September. I hope you will be able to join us and I look forward to seeing you there."

The concerts come during a relatively productive period for Bush. Although she's taken increasingly lengthy breaks between albums since the '80s, she managed a pair of releases in 2011: her 10th studio album, '50 Words for Snow,' and a collection of 'remixed and restructured' older tracks, 'Director's Cut,' both of which were released via her newly established Fish People imprint. Although her 1979 dates were captured for the 'On Stage' EP and subsequent 'Live at Hammersmith Odeon' box, there's no indication as to whether Bush intends to release recordings of her upcoming shows.

"People assume I didn't enjoy performing live, which is why I didn't do it again. But I did. I loved it," she told the Word in 2011. "It was really exciting. I just chose to spend my time making albums. I like creating new stuff."
