At one time, Journey was perched high on the Rock & Roll mantel. Everything they released was huge and tours were sold out with loyal fans.

As time passed the band members went their separate ways, (pardon the pun) and many fans still clamor for a reunion. It's highly doubtful it will happen, however there is a project on the horizon.

A live album featuring a previously unreleased performance by Journey's classic 1980s lineup is scheduled to hit stores on February 10. Journey: The Frontiers Tour captures the band's July 21, 1983, show at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma -- a performance that originally was broadcast on the radio.

At the time, Journey featured frontman Steve Perry, drummer Steve Smith and three current band members: guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardist Jonathan Cain and bassist Ross Valory. The group was supporting 1983's Frontiers, which was its second most successful studio album, peaking at #2 on the Billboard 200 and going on to sell 6 million copies in the U.S. alone.

The album features renditions of most of the songs from Frontiers, including the top 40 hits "Faithfully" and "After the Fall." It also boasts versions of such other classic tunes as "Wheel in the Sky," "Open Arms," "Who's Crying Now," "Don't Stop Believin'," "Stone In Love" and "Lights."
