Cheyenne Frontier Days officials have completed the 2013 Frontier Nights® concert lineup. Journey with very special guest star Styx will kick off the evening entertainment on Friday, July 19. Tickets for the show will go on-sale March 15.Journey

Journey will return to the Frontier Nights® stage for an encore performance this summer. Journey is one of the most popular American rock bands of all time, creating some of the best-known songs in modern music. Since the group’s formation in 1973, the band has earned 19 Top 40 singles and 25 Gold and Platinum albums. The band’s Greatest Hits album is certified 15 times Platinum, bringing Journey into the elite club of Diamond-certified album holders.  Journey’s biggest hits include “Any Way You Want It,” “Who’s Crying Now,” “Open Arms,” “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” “Faithfully,” and the ubiquitous mega-hit in both 1981 and 2009, “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

Styx

Styx is a Chicago rock band that became famous for its albums from the late 1970s and early 1980s. The band is known for melding the style of progressive rock with the power of hard rock guitar, strong ballads, and elements of American musical theater.

STYX was the first band in history to have four consecutive albums certified as multi-platiunum by the RIAA. They are best known for such hits as "Come Sail Away", "Renegade," "Fooling Yourself (the Angry Young Man)", "Too Much Time On My Hands", "Grand Illusion" and "Blue Collar Man."
