NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno is shaping up to be a memorable broadcast on Friday night. Steven Tyler's recent announced appearance will coincide with a visit from fellow American Idol stars Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest.Fellow Aerosmith band-mate Joe Perry is scheduled to join Tyler and Jackson as musical guest for the evening.

 

 

In addition, Perry will return to The Tonight Showon January 30 to play a cover of Bob Dylan's "Man of Peace" with the Joe Perry Project's Dave Hull and Paul Santo, as well as keyboardist Rudy Tanzi.  Joe contributed a studio version of the tune the Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan tribute album.  The expansive 70-plus-track collection, which also celebrates the 50th anniversary of human-rights organization Amnesty International, will be released as a four-CD set and a digital download on January 24.

 

Mr. Tyler is everywhere! Recently became  engaged to longtime girlfriend Erin Brady, starts his second season as judge on American Idol tonight, and will soon finish the new Aerosmith project.
