There have been many speculations of the country's unemployment rate, but is it nearly as bad as the media makes it out to be? And how does Wyoming rate compared to other states in the union?

According to the National Conference of State Legislation California, Kentucky, Washington D.C., Rhode Island, Michgan and Nevada are the worst at over 7% and states like South Dakota, Utah and Nebraska are the best around 3%. Wyoming isn't doing that bad though. We come in at 4% at one of the lowest times of the year.

After seeing this metric, are you glad you live in Wyoming?
