It may sound like the premise of a horrible horror movie, but apparently it's all too real. Three Americans wound up in a hospital in Mexico after getting possessed while playing with a Ouija board.

The trio, all between the ages of 18 and 23 and all related, thought it would be fun to try their hands with the board, but things got hairy quickly when one woman (seen above) began growling and violently moving about, while the others reported losing hearing and vision and experiencing hallucinations.

Two of the victims' parents initially called a priest, who refused to help because they do not go to church on a regular basis. Switch to Plan B: paramedics were called to the house and whisked them all to the hospital where doctors treated them with painkillers, anti-stress medicine and eye drops.

Visine -- who knew that would be the key to putting an end to demonic possession? Exorcists, take note.
