Casper, Wyoming- City of Casper’s garbage collection schedule will be interrupted by the Thanksgiving holiday. All residents on the city’s Thursday trash collection routes will be serviced on Friday, November 28, and residents on the city’s Friday route will be serviced on Saturday, November 29. It is critical for residents to have their trash containers at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day, as pick up times may be earlier than normal.

Leaf collection will still take place for those customers whose extra collection day falls on the 4th Thursday (Thanksgiving) or Friday of this month. All residential on the city’s Thursday trash collection route should place their bags of leaves three feet from their trash container on Friday, November 28, and residents on the city’s Friday trash collection route should place their bags of leaves three feet from their trash container on Saturday, November 29. Citizens are reminded that only leaves may be placed for the extra collection and that extra trash items will not be collected.

The Casper Regional Solid Waste Facility (a.k.a. Balefill) will be closed on Thanksgiving. Although city offices will be closed on Friday, November 28, the Solid Waste Facility will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The facility will resume normal hours of 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29.
