With so many going back to school, you may want to think about your end game. What will you do after you graduate? First, think about what you like to do and consider those things. But if you’re looking for a large paycheck, think about this list.

CareerCast.com just released its annual list of the highest paid jobs of the year . . . and once again, somehow "I work in client relations at a mortgage company but I'm really thinking about going to law school" didn't make the cut.

The rankings are based on the latest stats from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.  Check 'em out . . .

1.  Surgeon, average salary of $352,000.

2.  Psychiatrist, $182,000.

3.  General physician, $180,000.

4.  Senior corporate executive, $173,000.

5.  Dentist, $146,000.

6.  Petroleum engineer, $130,000.

7.  Orthodontist, $129,000.

8.  Data scientist, $124,000.

9.  Air traffic controller, $122,000.

Remember, money isn't everything. Do what you love, what feeds your soul and your passions, what will make the world a better place for your being here. Or, go for fat stacks of cash. It's up to you.
