Hermes’ Ridiculous $13,000 Basketball Is Real, But Won’t Help You Play Any Better

You may got game, but you may need serious cash to play it.

Hermes is selling a basketball for the mind-blowing sum of $12,900. Yes — $12,900. Or roughly what LeBron James earns per quarter.

The company has only created two of the leather balls, both of which are blue and perfectly suited to use on the hardwood, should you decide to work on your 3-point acumen.

Hermes is selling the ball to celebrate its new store in Beverly Hills, which may be the only place in North America where anyone would drop nearly 13 grand on a ball and not see what is wrong with that.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to scrape 15 bucks together to buy a ball that does the exact same thing.
