Helen Mirren is an Oscar winner and a multi-time Golden Globe winner. She has a few Best Actress awards from the Cannes Film Festival, and a couple Emmys as well. She’s a Dame of the British Empire. As far as actors go, she is amongst the most respected in the entire world.

But what Helen Mirren really wants is to be in a Fast & Furious movie.

That’s what she told the folks over at Yahoo! Movies, in an interview about her upcoming film Woman in Gold:

My great ambition is to be in a Fast and Furious movie. I so want to be a mad driver in a Fast and Furious movie. My claim to fame is I always do my own driving — I was on Top Gear, and I did [my lap] in a very good time. I keep putting it out there, and they never ask me. I’ll be in Fast and Furious 8. I have to say Vin Diesel is brilliant. I love Vin Diesel. He’s a great guy, smart — I love him.

Helen Mirren, you magnificent creature.

Mirren does have a classy image, but let’s not forget that she has dabbled in action and crime as well; she was the lead detective on the great British detective series Prime Suspect, and lit up the bad guys in two installments in the Red franchise. Frankly, she’d be an amazing addition to the Fast family, perhaps in a role similar to the kind of thing Kurt Russell does in Furious 7, where he plays a sort of shadowy government agent and a kind of elder statesman (who still gets to kick plenty of butt as well). Given the extreme places the Fast series has already gone, it’s hard to imagine too many ways they could get even crazier and better. But adding Helen Mirren is one very easy one. Make this happen Universal!
