CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — North-central Wyoming is seeing flooding from heavy rain and up to 6 inches of snow in the high country.

The National Weather Service says flooding was occurring along streams and rivers in areas of Fremont, Hot Springs and Johnson counties.

Thermopolis, Hot Springs State Park and Kaycee are some of the places seeing high water. Minor flooding also occurred in the area of Lander and Buffalo.

The Wyoming Transportation Department says U.S. 20 between Thermopolis and Shoshone is closed because of fallen rock along the highway.

Meantime, up to 6 inches of snow has fallen in areas of the Bighorn Mountains.

Beartooth Pass near the Montana border northwest of Cody is closed because of snow. Crews had just cleared the pass of winter snowfall on Friday.
