UNDATED (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks have completed half of their 48-game schedule without suffering a regulation loss.

The Hawks own an 11-game winning streak after Daniel Carcillo's (kahr-SIH'-lohz) first goal of the year snapped a 2-2 tie with just 49.3 seconds left in a 3-2 win over Colorado. Chicago trailed 2-1 until Jonathan Toews (tayvz) tallied early in the third period.

The Blackhawks improved to 21-0-3 to extend their NHL points record for the start of the season. They haven't suffered a regulation loss in 30 games dating to last season, five off the league mark set by the 1979-80 Philadelphia Flyers.

Also on ice, Corey Perry scored a first-period goal and Jonas Hiller turned back 18 shots in Anaheim's 2-0 shutout of Phoenix. The Ducks have the NHL's second-best record at 16-3-3 but are 10 points behind the West-leading Blackhawks.

Blake Comeau and Jarome Iginla (ih-GIHN'-luh) scored during the first five minutes of the third period to give Calgary a 3-1 lead in a 4-1 triumph over San Jose. Iginla has six goals in his last five games.

Phil Kessel had a goal and two assists in Toronto's 5-4 victory against Ottawa. Tyler Bozak and James van Riemsdyk (REEMZ'-dyk) each had a goal and an assist while the Maple Leafs were building a 5-2 lead.

NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Rangers have claimed Roman Hamrlik (HAM'-uhr-lihk) off Washington's waiver wire after losing fellow defenseman Marc Staal to injury.

Hamrlik is the active leader with 1,383 NHL games played. He was waived by the Caps on Tuesday after playing in only four games this season.

Staal is out indefinitely after being struck in the eye by a puck during Tuesday's win over Philadelphia. Doctors are optimistic Staal will recover fully.
