Great Way to Beat the Heat

One summer celebration for kids to beat the heat in the "old days" was to just get the hose out. Attach the biggest sprinkler one could find... and just run through the water.  A fun, inexpensive way to have a good time and cool down. That's a little hard to do when your in school and it's hot out side. So whats the solution? Get the park to turn on their water sprinklers and run through all of them. Teachers at Park School came up with the innovative idea to let their students cool off on a hot Friday. They contacted the City of Casper Parks crew who turned on the sprinklers in City Park. Teachers brought the students across the street and voila'....every one got to cool down,  having a great day of fun while in school, and not get in trouble for playing in the water.
