Aunt Buck from the backyard exposes the truth behind Glad Wrap. Plastic wrap can be a pain in the butt. It often sticks to itself and comes off the roll poorly. Fortunately, you can make your life easier with two little tips to help you use it better.

Punch in the tabs on the side of the plastic wrap to hold the roll in place. This will make it much easier to pull out evenly as the roll won't come out of the box as you yank on it.
If that doesn't do the trick, stick the plastic wrap in the freezer. This will reduce its "clingy-ness" so you'll have an easier time pulling it out. Of course, it won't actually work as well so you'll either have to wait for it to warm back up or use it for things that don't require excessive cling (e.g. a plate of leftovers or a bowl with a rubber band to help hold it down).
Those two tips should help you get a handle on your cling wrap and use it more effectively.
