Gasoline fell another 2 cents per gallon to a nation wide average of $2.48 per gallon, 14 cents cheaper than last week. Some analysts think the price drop will continue. There are global (look at Russia), national and regional repercussions that will send out ripple effects with some pluses and some minuses. Heavy users of fuel get a break, but those who work in and next to the gas and oil industry will see some shutdowns and slowdowns on projects that made sense when there was more money being made.

That said, let’s take a road trip while the driving is more affordable. My friend Nick gassed up yesterday in Fort Collins, Colorado for $2.15 a gallon. Further south in Colorado Springs, my friend Wendy said they had gas below $2.00.

Here in Wyoming, we are higher with Cheyenne gas going for $2.37 at Sapp Bros,12500I-80 Service Rd & US-30. the most expensive gas in town is at The Corner Stop,901 W Pershing Blvd& Snyder Ave, for $2.59.

In Casper, the most expensive gas, according to GasBuddy.com, is at the Douglas Shell 111 S Riverbend & Muirfield Ct for $2.82. I’ll bet they have a white gloved butler serving it up in a wine carafe. at 41 Wyoming Blvd SE & I-25, The Flying J is selling regular for $2.65 a gallon.

Happy Motoring, now here’s a great road tune to get you psyched for heading over the river and through the woods.
