Casper Fire Captain Matt Trott has been diagnosed with a very rare form of Cancer, Pancreatic Acinar Cell Carcinoma. After more than 2 years of treatment and a surgery to remove a large mass, Matt still requires more treatment.

Unfortunately, his insurance company is denying coverage for a simple yet expensive procedure. The procedure is intended to reduce and hopefully eliminate the tumor by injecting chemo drugs directly into the cancerous lesions that have now metastasized to his liver.

Casper Firefighters are holding a Garage Sale and Silent Auction to help offset the costs out his family's pocket on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Both events will take place at Fire Station #3, 2140 E 12th in Casper from 7 am to 5 pm.

Firefighters will also be serving lunch from Local 904’s custom firetruck BBQ grille. For more information, check out this Facebook page.

Here is a quick video preview of everything at the station.
